A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
AUTHO]RE ZINGIN"VEST MENT OF CITY MONIES IN THE LOCAL AGENCY
INVESTMENT FUND AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 7247
WHEREAS, Governirient Code Section 16429.1 creates a Local Agency Investment Fund in
the State Treasury for the deposit of money of a local agency for purposes of investment by the State
Treasurer; and
VvTHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redlands hereby finds that the deposit and
withdrawal of nioncy in the Local Agency Investment Fund, in accordance with the provisions of
Section 16429.1 of the Government Code for the purposes of investment as stated therein, is in the
best interests of the City Council of the City of Redlands,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDLANDS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The deposit and withdrawal of City monies in the Local Agency Investment Fund
in the:State Treasury, in accordance with the provisions of Section 16429.1 of the Goveriu-nent Code,
for the purpose of investment as stated therein is hereby approved.
Section 2. The following City Officers and staff shall be authorized to order the deposit or
withdrawal of monies in the Local Agency Investment Fund:
