HomeMy WebLinkAbout6048 RESOLUTION NO. 6048 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS PURSUANT TO TITLE 10 OF THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE. Pursuant to studies made under authority of Title 10 of the Redlands Municipal Code, and the presentation of information gained in such studies, the City Council hereby finds and determines that certain regulations are necessary and shall be established pursuant to Title 10 of the Redlands Municipal Code, and the Traffic Engineer of the City of Redlands is hereby directed to perform such acts as are necessary to accomplish the following: SECTION ONE: Pursuant to Section 10.20,060 of the Redlands Municipal Code: 1. Install two lighted, mid-block pedestrian crosswalks on Brockton Avenue between University Street and Grove Street as shown on the attached Exhibit "A". The installation of the lighted crosswalk shall also include the installation of all necessary striping and signs. SECTION TWO: Pursuant to, Section 10.40.310 B. of the Redlands Municipal Code:: 1. Install No Parking signs on both sides of Brockton Avenue where the lighted pedestrian crosswalks are located as shown on the attached Exhibit "A".
