THIS INDENTURE made the 28tih day of F<ibiFly
19 72 between John A Gartner, Tax Collector of the County of San Bernardino State of California, first party, and
the City of Redlands
second party,
WITNESSETH That Whereas, the real property hereinafter described was duly sold and conveyed to the State of
California for the non-payment of taxes and assessments which had been legally levied and which were a lien upon
said property under and in accordance with law, and,
WHEREAS, in conformity with law the right of redemption in the property hereinafter described has been terminated
in accordance with Chapter 8, Part 6, Division 1, of the Revenue and Taxation Code of the State of California, and
WHEREAS, the purchase price has been paid by the second party in accordance with the agreement of sale dated
December 7, 1971between the Board of Supervisors of San �G
Bernardino County and the City of Redlands
NOW, THEREFORE, the said first party, in consideration of the premises and in accordance with the law in such
case made and provided, does hereby grant to the second party that certain real property hereinbefore referred to,
and situated in the County of San Bernardino, State of California, more particularly described as follows, to-wit
Redlands Heights Crafts Map ptn Lot 1 lying Ely of Ely lines Lots 8
thru 12 Tract No 5688 and SWly and Nally of Marion Road as shown on

CERTIFICATE OF ACCEPTANCE
This is to certify that the interest in real property conveyed by
Tax Deed dated February 28 , 1972 , from San Bernardino County
Ed. of Supervisors to the City of Redlands, a political corporation and/or
governmental agency, is hereby accepted by order of the City Council
on March 7 , 1972 , and the Grantee consents to recordation
thereof by its duly authorized officer.

The city has purchased for $72. 21 , a small parcel of tax
delinauent property on the west side of Marion Road
Property is required for street right—of—way.

RECOMMENDATION. That the Council accept the tax deed for the property on
Marion Road, and authorize the City Manager to execute
required acceptance certificate

RESOLUTION NO 2913
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS
WHEREAS , the Tax Collector of the County of San Bernardino
has requested the Board of Supervisors of said County for its
approval and authority for selling at public sale certain tax-
deeded property heretofore deeded to the State of California, and
WHEREAS, said list of parcels of property as described in
the Sale Folio includes the following described property in the
City of Redlands, to wit
Parcel 174-351-37
All that portion of Lots 1 and 5 of Redlands
Hea.ghts (Craft' s Map) in the City of Redlands
as per plat recorded in Book 11 of Maps,
Page 16 thereof, records of San Bernardino
County, State of California and described as
follows
Beginning at the centerline intersection of
Fifth Avenue and Marion Road as the said
intersection is shown on said Crafts Map
of Redlands Heights and also shown on Map
of Tract 5688 recorded in Book 88 of Maps,
Pages 24 and 25, records of said County. Thence
southerly along said centerline of Marion Road
31 28 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve
concave northeasterly having a radius of 150
feet and a central angle 64° 29 ' 32" , thence
southerly and southwesterly along said curve
168 . 85 feet; thence south 631 56 ' 18" east
202 63 feet along the centerline of Marion Road
to angle point in said Marion Road Thence
south 21° 27 ' 31" west 311 64 feet to the be-
ginning of a curve concave easterly having a
radius of 150 feet and a central angle of

to the westerly right-of-way line of said Marion
Road, thence northerly along the west line of
said Lot "C" to the northeast corner thereof,
thence northerly to the southerly most point on
the east line of Lot 13 , said point being 30 feet
distant westerly, measured along the radial line
from said centerline of Marion Road; thence
northerly along the easterly line of Lots 13 , 12 ,
11 , 10 , 9 , 8 , 7 and 6 to the northerly most point on
the east line of Lot 6 , which is 30 feet distant
measured radially from the centerline of Marion Road,
thence northerly and westerly along a curve concave
southwesterly having a radius of 13 feet and a central
angle 851 00 ' 48" 18. 84 feet to the south line of
44 foot wide Fifth Avenue, thence northerly perpen-
dicular to the centerline of Fifth Avenue 44 feet
to a point on centerline of said Fifth Avenue; thence
easterly along said centerline to its intersection
with the centerline of Marion Road and the point of
beginning.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Redlands that it does hereby respectfully request that
the aforementioned property be deleted from the Sale of Tax--
Deeded Properties to be held by the Tax Collector of the County
of San Bernardino on the day of January, 1972 .
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 7th day of December,
1971.
