CONTL-I"CT FOR FURNISHING AND
INSTALLING TRAFFIC SIGNnLS
CITY OF REDLANDS
THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 6th day of
November, 19290 by and between the City of Redlands, California,
and the Acme Traffic Signal Company, a corporation, hereinafter
called "Contractor. "
VITNESSETH: That the part-jes heteto have mutually covenanted
and agreed and by these presents do covenant and agree with each other
as follows:
shat the Contractor hereby agrees to furnish Four Acme
Traffic Signals Heads and One Timer and the necessary labor and
material, supplies, equipment and apparatus, to viell and truly
perform in a workmanlike manner, the installation of said Acme
Traffic Signal Heads and Timer complete and ready for use on the
intersection of,

in the City of Redlands, all of which shall be done and furnished
in strict accord=ance with the ordinance covering said electrical
work in the City of ±kedlands*
in consideration of the premises the party of the second
part agrees to pay to the said party of the first parte on or before
the price bid for said traffic signals and timer
February 1, 193 0,
and for said work, the sum of One 'khousand Seven Hundred and Seventy--
Five Dollars 0,1177 5.00) .
It is further understood and agreed that the Contractor
will allow the City of Redlands a discount of 3% bf the total amount
mf bid is paid on or before F.bruary 1, 1930.
It is further underttood and agreed that the Contractor 1
will move one of the standards when a certain widening proceeding
is carried out at the intersection of State and Orange.
The Contractor guarant6es all Semaphore mechanism and will
keep the same in repair for a period of five yearso except in case
of accidents.
