In Consideration of the acceptance of the storm drain facilities lo-
cated therein and the assumption of all obligations for the operation,
maintenance and repair thereof and of all responsibilities associated
therewith, the SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT does hereby
assign and delegate to the CITY OF REDLANDS, all of those rights conveyed
by easement instrument recorded July 16, 1954, in Book 3425, page 243,
Official Records of San Bernardino County, State of California, in,
over, and across that real property, situate in said County, described
as follows:
The South 10 feet of the East 300 feet of the West 400 feet of Lot 9,
Map of East Redlands as per plat recorded in Book 7 of Maps, page 47,
records of said County, being a subdivision of Lots 9 and 10, Block 77,
Rancho San Bernardino, as per plat of said Rancho recorded in Book 7
of Maps, page 2, records of said County
IN WITNESS WBEREOF, said San Bernardino County Flood Control District has
caused this instrument to be executed this 5th day of
September , 1972, by its proper officers, thereunto duly authorized.

CERTIFICATE OF ACCEPTANCE
This is to certify that the interest in real property conveyed by
Assignment dated September 5 , 1972 , from San Bernardino County Flood
Control District to the City of Redlands, a political corporation and/or
governmental agency, is hereby accepted by order of the City Council
on September 19, 19 72, and the Grantee consents to recordation /01
thereof by its duly authorized officer.

OF SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT
Flood Control Engineer W. k. Sidler advises the Board that the City of
Redlands is proposing to realign certain streets within the City to
accommodate the traffic to the Crafton Hills College campus and the
proposed realignment will require revision to a storm drain located at
Fifth Avenue and Fairview, Zone 3. He states that this storm drain is
-of a very local nature and is one which should be under the cognizance
of the City and toward this end an assignment of rights,wzth delegation
of responsibiliths, has been prepared for the Board' s approval.
Whereupon, on motion by Supervisor Betterley, duly seconded by Supervisor
Smith, and carried, the Board of Supervisors hereby accepts the recommen-
dation of the Flood Control Engineer and authorizes execution of the
Assignment of Rights with delegation of responsibilities to the City of
Redlands as it relates to the Zone 3, Fifth Avenue Storm Drain and
further authorizes its Chairman to sign said assignment indicating this
Board ' s approval of the terms and conditions therein contained.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the San Bernardino
County Flood Control Distract, State of California, by the following vote:
AYES: SUPERVISORS: Betterley, Smith, Mikesell
