HOUSING LUTHORIVY- OF SAN BMMaRDIN0 COUNTY AND THE
CITY OF RE DS, DULY ENTERED INTO AUGUST 6th, 1941.

4 Whereas, the Housing, authority of San Bernardino
5 County and. the City of Redlands have duly entered into
a certain agreement in writing, dated august 6th, 1.941,
6 and that pursuant thereto the said Housing autriority
has erected. Fifty new dwelling units within this said
7 City, and whereas Section (2) of said agreement provides
that said City was to eliminate a number of unsafe and
8 insanitary dwelling units within. said City equal to the
number of new building units constructed, within a period
9 of one year after the, completion of the new housing units,
10 And Whereas, the war euergency and building, restrictions
have made it impractical to remove substandard dwelling
11 units at this time, and whereas there is a general housing
shortage within this community,
