A G R E E M E N T
WHEREAS, The County of San Bernardino, State of California, adopted a BL ilding
Code for the County of San Bernardino, effective outside of incorporated cities,
which Code was urged by the oities as protection for the areas of the oounty
that mould likely beoome part of the city at a future time; and
ISE MAS, in order to best administer the Building Code for the service to the
public and in the interest of urban and municipal growth, the City of
hereby agrees that it is a matter of importance that the County Building Code,
as adopted by Ordinance 5?41 bo enforced in all of its effective areas, and
particularly adjacent to the city limits, and
WHEREAS, the established Building Department of this City can effectively 000p-
erate with the County of San Bernardino in making inspections of building con-
struotion and can issue helpful building information and applications with the
existing staff, all as requested by the County of San Bernardino.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED by the City Council of the City of

nardino as may be necessary to administer the County Building Code in the follow-
ing described territory adjacent to the City of

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that as oompensation and expenses for such services, it
is understood and agreed that the County of San Bernardino, following ratifioa-
tion of this Resolution of Agreements shall pay this city er cent of all
Inspection and Service Fees collected within the above described territory,
such payments to be made on a monthly, quarterly, or semi-annual basis, as may
be most practical;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Agredment may be terminated at any time by
either party, by written notioe•
