Whereas the parties to this Agreement executed a Supplemental
AGREEMENT under date of June 2nd, 1953, which referred to an Original
AGREEMENT DINED FEB. 24th, 1916, relative to a certain well and pumping
and Nater agreement, and the proposal of the State of California to
drill a new 18 inch well in lieu of the present well on certain property
located in Block 14 of Map no 2 of Redlands Heights, owned by the
West Redlands Water Company.
knd Whereas it is deemed advisable by the parties hereto to have
the contractor who is drilling the new Well for the State of California,
drill an additional and extra 200 feet , which wall make the new well
500 feet deep, at a cost of $14-50 per Foot completed, a total additional
cost of 2900.00 , and the parties hereto agree to share this additional
cost as follows:
City of Redlands the sura of 2,60..00
West Redlands eater Company, the sum of 300.00
and the West !Redlands Water Company, is hereby authorized to enter--
into an agreement with the said well drilling contractor accordingly,
and the City of Redlands agrees to pay for said amount upon presentation
of a demand for payment thereof.
IN WITNESS dHEREOF, the parties have executed these presents this
ldar., 2nd, 19542 the Mayor and the City Clerk on behalf of the City
of Redlands, after ob�aining due author izztion thereto by a Council
?resolution.
