SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY, a corporation, does
hereby remise , release , and quitclaim unto the CITY OF REDLANDS,
a municipal corporation , all right , title and interest in and to
that certain water conduit existing within the Northwest quarter
of the Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 23 , ,
Township 1 South, Range 2 West , S. B. B. and M. , in the County ;
of San Bernardino, State of California and being located approx-
imately along a line described as follows .-
Beginning
ollows :Beginning at the intersection of said existing
water conduit with the Northerly line of said Section
23 , said intersection being approximately 17 feet
Easterly, measured along said Northerly line , from
the Northwest corner of said Section 23; thence South-
westerly 31 feet , more or less , to the intersection
of said water conduit with the Westerly line of said
Section 23 , said intersection being approximately 25
feet Southerly, measured along said Westerly line
from the Northwest corner of said Section 23.

The rights hereby quitclaimed are not necessary or use-
ful in the performance of the duties of said Southern California
Edison Company to the public,
