TAX DEED
THIS INDENTURE made the lst day of . . July Ig65
between G Leon Gregory] Tax Collector of the County of San Bernardino, State of California, first party,
and the City of Redlands
second party,
WITNESSETH- That Whereas, the real property hereinafter described was duly sold and conveyed to the
State of California for the non-payment of taxes and assessments which had been legally levied and
which were a lien upon said property under and in accordance with law, and,
WHEREAS, in conformity with law the right of redemption in the property hereinafter described has been
terminated in accordance with Chapter S, Part 6, Division 1, of the Revenue and Taxation Code of the
State of California, and
WHEREAS, the purchase price has been pard by the second party in accordance with the agreement of
sale dated May 17th, 1965between the Board of Supervisors of the County
of. San Bernardino and the City of Redlands
NOW, THEREFORE, the said first party, in consideration of the premises and in accordance with the
law in such case made and provided, does hereby grant to the second party that certain real property
hereinbefore referred to, and situate in the County of San Bernardino, State of California, more particu-
larly described as follows, to-wit-
Chicago Colony Reservation portion Lot 8 commencing at intersection North line of
Atcheson and Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad Right of Way and East line of Lincoln
Street thence North along said East line of Lincoln street to its intersection with
Southwesterly line of Sylvan Boulevard thence Southeasterly along Southwesterly line
of said Sylvan Boulevard to Northwesterly line of said Railroad Right of Slay thence
Southwesterly along said Northwesterly line to said Railroad Right of Way to point
of beginning
