KNOW ALL MEN EY THESE PRESENTS-
That the STATE OP,CALIFORNIA,acting by and through its Director of Public Works,does hereby grant to
the CITY OF R�.,DLANDS, a Municipal Corporation -- �
all that certain real property situate, lying and being in the City of Redlands
Count, of San Bernardino , State of California, described as follows, to-wit-
That portion of Lot or Block 28, of BARTON RANCH, as per Plat
recorded in Book 6 of Maps , at Page 19 -thereof, Records of said County,
more particularly described as follows :
BEGINNING at a point on the West lane of Texas Street, 80 feet
wide , distant thereon South 10 OOF 0711 East 460.07 feet from she South
line of Colton Avenue , 80 Feet wide , as said Texas Street and Colton
Avenue are shown on said Map , thence South 88o 59' 5111 West 303 .95 feet
to a non-tangent curve having a radius of 3,500 feet and being concave
Northerly; thence Westerly along said curve from a tangent bearing
North 700 591 5411 West, through an angle of 50 171 28i1 , an arc distance
of 323,22 feet to the West line of the Northeast Quarter of said Lot or
Block. 28; thence along said West lane , South 10 011 4511 East 220.27
feet to the Southwest corner of said Northeast Quarter , thence along
the South line of said Northeast Quarter, North 890 381 25i1 East 619®85
feet to said West line of Texas Street' thence along said West line ,
North la 001 0711 Best 159.66 feet to the POINT OF BEGIN1TING.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion thereof lying in the East Half
of the East Half of the Forth Half of said Lot or Block 28,
Containing 1.397 acres , more or less ,

EXCEPTING AITD RESERVING unto the State of California any and
all rights of ingress to or egress from the land herein conveyed over
and across the Northerly lines thereof.
It is the purpose of the foregoing exception and reservation to
provide that no easement of access shall attach or be appurtenant to
the property hereby conveyed, by reason of the fact that the same abuts
upon a State highway.

and,in particular,by the Streets and Highways Code.
