GRANT OF EASEMENT

t THE GRANTOR -__ City of Redlands. a municipal corporation ,
a Corporation, hereby grants to CALIFORNIA WATER & TELEPHONE COMPANY, a corporation,
its successors and asstgns, the right to construct, use, maintain, alter, add to, repair, replace
and/or remove, in, on, under, and over the real property hereinafter described, situated in the
County of San B r rd i o , State of California, a telephone line, consisting of poles, neces-
sary guys and anchors, braces, cross-arms, wire, conduits, cables, and other fixtures and appliances,
for conveying electric energy to be used for communtcatton, telephone, telegraph and/or other purposes
Lot 16, Johnson's Subdivision, as shown by map recorded in Boo4 15 of Maps at page 9,
Records of said County and State.
The easement Hereby granted covers 2 feet on each side of the following described
center lime.:
Beginning at a point on the Northeasterly line of said Lot, I foot Northwesterly
from the Northeast corner thereof; thence S. 110 W., 30 feet.
The grantee herein agrees to remove,,all vlant fixtures placed on the above described
lot, under the right created by this easement, at its awn expense and at such time a$
the public convenience may so require.
THE GRANTEE, its successors and assigns, and its and their respective agents and employees,
shall have the right to trim or top such trees or shrubs as may endanger or interfere with said
telephone line, and shall have free access to said telephone line and every part thereof, at all
times, for the purpose of exercising the rights herein granted.

RESOLUTION CONCERNING GILINT OF EASEMENT BY TRE CITY OF REDLANDS TO Ce1.LIVOILNIA WAn'Ea
AND TELEPHONE CO3MIANY.
RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Redlands hereby determines that
the casement for public utility purposes described herein is not required for
public use, and finds that the conveyance of said easement in not necessary
for the public convenience, sufety, welfare. or for any public use of said
city.
RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby authorLza the conveyance by Grant
of Easement to CALIFORNIA W&TER :LND TELEPUOINE COIW,' NY, of the real property
in the City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino, State of California, de—
ocribed as follows:
