HomeMy WebLinkAboutDeeds & Easements_4-1938E TO ACCOMIODATE the City of Redlands and IN CONSIDERATION of said City, a municipal corporation of the State of California, granting to the under- signed, STANDARD OIL COMPANY OF CALIFORNIA, a corporation, an easement for right of gray purposes and for roa d purposes over and across the following described parcel of land situated in the City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino, State of California: That portion of Block 29 of Barton Ranch, as per plat recorded in Book 6 of Maps, page 19, records of said County, described as follows: Beginning at the point of intersection of the Southerly lime of the real property conveyed to Standard Oil Company, a corporation, predecessor-,of the undersigned, by grant deed from A. Gregory and Emma Gregory, husband and wife, and the Gregory Fruit Company, a corporation, dated January 11, 1911, and recorded Wrch 2, 1911, in Book 472, page 184 of Deeds, records of said County, with the North- easterly line of the State highway, known as Highway 99 or Central Avenue (100 ft, nide) ; said point of intersection being at right - - - angles to sta. 446 plus 79.76 of the survey of the center line of said State highway and 50 feet Northeasterly therefrom; the Southwest corner of said real property bearing South 880 521 35" West 2.28 feet from said point of intersection; and also a State highway concrete monument (Sta. 446 plus 77.06) on said Northeasterly line bearing North 58° 341 West 2.70 feet therefrom; thence along the Southerly line of said real property North 88a 521 35" East 70.72 feet for the _ True Point of Beginning; thence leaving said Southerly, line, South 1° 07t East 26.91 feet to the point of beginning of a tangent curve, concave to the N. W. of radius 10 feet; thence Southerly, Westerly and Northwesterly along said curve through an angle of 1220 331, 21.39 feet, to a point on the Northeasterly line of said State highway, a radial line to said curve at said point bearing North 310 26T East; thence along said Northeasterly line South 58° 341 East 68.60 feet to the point of beginning of a curve concave to the N. E. of radius 25 feet, a radial line at said point bearing North 31° 261 East; thence Northwesterly along said curve, through an angle of 570 271, 25.07 feet; thence tangent to said curve, North le 07t vest 51.17 feet to a point on, the Southerly line of said real property conveyed by grant deed dated January 11, 1911; thence along said Southerly line South 880 521 35" West 30.90 feet to the True Point of Beginning; the undersigned hereby remises, releases and quitclaims unto said City of Redlands that certain right of way for driveway purposes granted to said Standard Oil Company by said grant deed dated January 11, 1911; excepting that portion of said right of way which is included -within the boundaries of the parcel hereinabove described as d being the parcel over and across which said City of Redlands has granted an easement for right of way purposes and for road purposes to the undersigned.
