Agreemen L dated September 17, 1953 between Mr. Theodore Helmle, Otto Hel mle, Kathryn Nelle and nhe City of Redlands A question has been raised in reference to the above agreement relative to the City's obligation regarding the serving of sewer and water service to the 30 acres named in the agreement. in discussion with Mr. Workman and Thr Paul hilson (former City Attorney) they have stated that the intent of this agreement, although it does not specifically spell it out, ,s that the City would serve the aforementioned acres with domestic nater and sewers, but the entire cost of the facilities necessary for service would be borne by zhe owners. Pursuant to our oral understanding and the attached Two Easements that you have executed to the City of Redlands on the City Sewer Line Matter it is understood that the City will pay you the sum of .75 per lineal foot therefore. If any clearing is done, or trees removed or injured you will be paid damages therefore in addition to the above. The Contractor expects to be able to make the construction between the Westerly row of your trees and the weir line to the West, without damages to the said row of trees. If they are damaged you will be paid compensatory damages therefore. The actual construction will be approximately on the Westerly 6 feet of your Pioneer Ave. Grove. The line therethru is a 2 foot. line and does not run as deep as the line thru the other grove between Pioneer Ave. and San Bernardino Avenue. It is further understood that the City agrees to serve your 5. 87 Acr parcel with domestic water, if you should care to divide or subdivide this property in the future, and also to all sewer connections from this ropert to the City Swwer System.
