+fie, the undersigned for and in consideration of the sum
of One Dollar ($1.00) , the receipt of which is hereby acknow-
ledged, do heeeby GRANT unto the City of Redlands, a municipal
corporation, of the County of San Bernardino, State of California,
for public street and highway purposes only, all our right, title
and interest in and to all that portion of Sunnyside Avenue in
Wiest Redlands Subdivision, in the City of Redlands, as per plat
thereof recorded in Book 9 of Maps, Page 22, records of the
County Recorder of San Bernardino County, California, described
as follows:
Beginning at the southwesterly corner of Lot 1, Block 36,
as shown on map of said West Redlands Subdivision, said
point being also the nortYemterly corner of the inter-
section of Cypress Avenue and Sunnyside P-.venue; thence
northwesterly along the southwesterly line of Lots 1 and
3, Block 36, of said Vie s � :'-dlands Subai v:L si on, being
also along the northeasterly line of saiCi Sunnyside Avenue
as shown on said reap of West Redlands Subdivision to a
line which is parallel to the northwesterly line of Cypress
Avenue and distant 250 feet at right angles to said north-
westerly line of Cypress Avenue; thence southwesterly along
said line parallel to and distant 250 feet from the north-
westerlj line of Cypress Avenue to the center line of
Sunnyside Avenue as shown on said map of West Redlands
Subdivision; thence southeasterly along said center line
of said Sunnyside Avenue to the northwesterly line of
Cypress Avenue; thence northeasterly along the north-
westerly line of Cypress Avenue to the point of beginning.
Saving and excepting therefrom any portion thereof now in
Sunnyside Avenue.
The above described land being 30 feet in width and being
the northeasterly one-half of Sunnyside Avenue as shown
on said map of West Redlands Subdivision, said parcel of
land borders the southwesterly line of Lots 1 and 3,
Block 36, of said West Redlands Subdivision, and was
{ previously closed by the City of Redlands, California.

that the within and foregoing deed be and the same is hereby
accepted and that the real property described therein be and thq
same is hereby dedicated to public highway purposes only, and
designated "SUNNYSIDE AVENUE".
I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT the foregoing Resolution was adopted
by the Mayor and City Counc11 -of the City of Redlands at a
regular meeting thereof held on the thJrd day of NoyAni ar 1953,
by the following vote, to-wit:
