In consideration of 8 500,0/ , receipt of ah3-ch is acknowledged, the
CITY OF REDLANDS, a municipal corporation organized and existing under the
laws of the State of California, with its principal place of business at
Redlands, California, does hereby brant to GENERAL PETROLEUM CORPORATION, a
Delaware corporation, the real property in the County of San Bernardino,
State of California, described as:
All that portion of Block 29, Barton Ranch, in the City of Redlands,
County of San Bernardino, State of California, as per plat recorded
in Book 6 of Maps, Page 19, and all that portion of Lot 29 Block
XXVII, Addition iso. 4 to Second Preliwina.rj Map of Redlands, in the
City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino, State of California, as
per plat retarded in Book 5 of Maps, Page 6, records of said County,
described as a whole as followal
COMMENCING at the intersection of the East line of said Block 29,
of said Burton Ranch, with the Southerly boundary of the 50 foot
right of way of Southern Pacific Railroad Company as described in
Deed recorded in Book 142 of Deeds, Page 239; thence Southerly along
the Easterly line of Block 290 being also the Westerly line of Texas
Street to the Northerly line of 'lest State Street, 65 feet wide, as
shown on the Map of Moore and Woodworth Brookside Subdivision, as
per plat recorded in Boos 23 of daps, Page 19, records of San
Bernardino County; thence Westerly and Southerly along; said boundary
line of said State Street to its intersection with a line which is
parallel with and distant 300 feet Westerly, m4asured at right
angles, from the West line of Texas Street; thence Northerly along
said parailel line to its intersection with the Southerly boundary
line of the aforesaid right of ray of Southern Pacific Railroad
Company; thence Northeasterly along the boundary of said railroad
right of way to the point of beginning. ,
