do hereby grant to the Grantee, CALIFORNIA ELE;CTRIt: POWER COMPANY , its successors and assigns,
a ri t of way and easement for the construction, maintenance, operation, inspection, repair, replacement and remov-
al o electric lines and telephone lines and cables, including such additional circuits as said Grantee may from
time to time in future require, upon and by means of one line of poles, with supporting structures, , wires,
guys, anchors, fixtures and appurtenances, for the transmission of electric energy for any and all purposes for which
the same may be used, and communication purposes, upon, over and across that certain real property situate in the
County of S&n Bernardino State of California, described as follows
Lot 71 of Tract An. 2959, also known iifl GliYke, Evans and Lang
Sutdivtsion, as shorn by map thereof nee-arded in Rap Book 41,
Pnee 510 records of San Beira rdino County, Caaifoimia.
The center line of said right of w.ty and ea!:mMent is described
as followes:
Fee g'.naing on the Borth line of said Lot 71 at a point 1 (once)
foot [gest of the NortLeaet corner thereof and running thence
South, parallel to and 1 (one) foot Vest of the Fast line of
said Lot 71, a distance of 28k feet, +yore or less, to a point
on the South line of said Lot 71.
The Grantee shall have the right to clear the right of way hereby granted and keep the same free of brush, tree
growth and any other obstruction to such extent as may be necessary to prevent contact or interference with said
lines, and the operation thereof, and to protect persons from injury or death, and said lines and other property
from fire, destruction or damage, and to enter upon and travel, including transport of materials, over and across
the real property of Grantor_for any and all uses and purposes in the exercise of the right of way and easement
rights herein granted, provided that such right shall be reasonably exercised and that the Grantee shall be liable
for any damaga negligently done by it to the said land and real property

City Council of the City of
Redlands., California.
Gentlemen:
During the preliminary work involved in serving your 250 H.P. pump
on lot 71 of Tract 2959 northeast of Curtis Lane and Coulston Street,
we find that an easement was not obtained for our existing electric
distribution line along the east line of the City's lot.
in serving the pump, it will be necessary to interset a two—pole
structure in line with our existing facility. It is desired to
obtain a standard easement for the existing electric line, which
will also cover the new two-pole structure.
If you have no objection to signing this easement, will you kindly
return the original copy of the enclosed form after it is duly signed
by the Mayor and attested to by the City Clerk. The corporate seal
of the City should also be affixed to the document.
It is further requested that a copy of the resolution which may grant
this easement be sent to us., along with the completed certification
for the resolution which we have enclosed for your convenience.
Your earliest a.ctio'a on this matter will be greatly appreciated.
