We, the undersigned for and in consideration of the sum
of One Dollar ($1.00) , the receipt of wish is hereby acknow-
ledged, do hereby GRANT unto the City of Redlands, a municipal
corporation, of the County of San Bernardino, State of California,
for public street and highway purposes only, all our right, title ,

and interest in and to all that portion of Lot 4, Block XXX,
Second Preliminary Map of Redlands, as per plat recorded in Book
5 of Maus, at Page 2., records of the County Recorder of San Bern-
ardino County, California, described as follows:
Beginning' at a point in the north line of Citrus Avenue,
said point being 80 feet east of the east line of University
Street, thence East along the north line of Citrus Avenue,
85 feet; thence North and parallel with the east line of
University Street, 10 feet, thence best and parallel with
the north line of Citrus Avenue, 85 feet, thence South and
parallel with the east line of University Street, 10 feet to
the point of beginning.

RESOLVED, by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Redlands,
that the within and foregoing deed be and the same is hereby
accepted and that the real property dt:6ui .bed therein be and the
same is hereby dedicated to public highway purposes only, and
designated "CITRUS AVENUE".
I HEREBY CERTIFY That the foregoing Resolution was adopted
by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Redlands at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 16 day of March 1954,
by the following vote, to-wit:
Councilmen Van Diest, Elkins,
AYES Anderson and Mayor Folkins
OPAL DOES None ABSENT Councilman Putnam
