THE GRANTOR, the CITY OF 1MLAW-3, a body politic and corporate, hereby grants
to the SOUT9MS ' CALIFORNIA EDISON COi,fPAI Y, a corporation, its successors and
assigns, the right to construct, use; maintain, alter, add to, replace, repair,
and/or remove, in, on and over the real property hereinafter described situated
in the County of San Bernardino, State of California, an electric line, consist-
ing of poles, necessary guys and anchors, cross-arms, wires and other fixtures
and appliances, for conveying plectr3_c energy to be used for light, heat, power,
telephone and/or other rurpozas.
Said real property is described as fnllovat
A strip of land 16 feet in width lying within Lot 2, Flock
27, Mentone, commonly known as the :.''tretch dap, no per plat recr_,rded
in Book 8 of Maps, page 81, records of said Gounty, 'With the center
of the 16 Foot strip of land beim described as follows:
Beginning on the ':•lest line of Lot 1, of said Block 27, at
the Northwest corner of Tract 2875, recorded in Book 45 of Maps,
pages 48 to 50 inclusive, records of said County; thence North
1° 12' 20" East 344.98 Feet; thence Fast parallel with the North
line of bots 1 and 2, 1380 feet to the true Poi At, of Beginning;
thence North parallel with the West line of ;said Lot 2, to the
North line of said Lot 2.
The Grantee, its successors and assigns, and its and their agents and employees,
shall have free access to sa{.d electric line and every part thereof, at all
times, for the purpose of exercising the rights herein granted, and shallhave
the right to trim or top such trees as may endanger or interfere with said
electric line.
IN WITNESS WHlaW , the City of iiedlands, by order of the City Council has
caused thi instrument to be executed on its behalf by its Mayor, this

Notary Public in and for the County of San Bernardino, State of
California, duly commissioned and swore, residing therein, personally
appeared Raymond J. Lamm, known to me to be the Mayor Pro-tem and
H. R. Whaley, known to ine to be the City Clerk of the corporation
that executed the within instrument , and aclmowledged to me that such
corporation executed the same .

Gentlemen:
Our Company is desirous of improving the voltage conditions
on our Greenspot circuit and at the same time shorten this
long circuit out of our Crafton Substation,
We propose placing two "H" Frames with one "H" Frame being
near your South property line and the other near the North
property line.
The majority of the wires will be crossing over the Santa
Ana Wash.
If the above meets with the approval of the City Council,
please have the City officials sign the enclosed Grant of
Easement, have their signatures acknowledged by a Notary
Public, and return the document in the enclosed envelope.
