1 That Railroad hereby grants to Grantee (subject to the reservations,covenants and conditions herein
contained) the right to construct, reconstruct, maintain and use a street or highway, hereinafter termed
"highway," upon and across°the following described real property
All that certain piece or parcel of land situate in the City
of Redlands, County of San Berna.rdi.nos State of California, being a.
portion of Lot 7, Lot 8 and Sylvan. Boulevard$ as shown on map of

the Office of the County Recorder of said County, also being a portion
of the property of the Southern Pacific Company described in deed
dated October 28, 1893, recorded in Book 197, page 346 of deeds and in
deed dated March 20, 1899, recorded in Book 2682 page 296 of Deeds,
said deeds recorded in the Office of said Recorder, more particularly
described as follows.

of the following described center line- commencing at a. point
in the center lane of Lincoln Street, Q feet wide, as shorn
on map of East Redlands, recorded April. 1888 in Soak 7, page
1 of Map5, in the Office of said Recorder, distant thereon.

of the Southern Pacific Company as described in said Book
197, page 346, said point being the True Point of Beginning

180 feet, more or less, to the southerly lane of land of the
Southern Pacific Company as described in said Book 268, page
296.
The side lines of said strap of land shall be prolonged
or shortened so as to terminate northwesterly in said north-
westerly property- line and southeasterly in said southerly
property line.
The above described parcel of land is shown outlined in yellow

RESOLVED by the City Council of thwe CKY Of ROdiOndso
California, that the grant of an casement for a public grade
crossing over the Southern Pacific Company' s track and right of
way at Sylvan Boulevavd, Lot 72 Lot S. Chicago Colony Reservation,
has been offered by the Southern Pacific Company, Grantor, to tinle
City of Redlands, Grantee; said granting instrument dated April
1956, being attached hereto;
BE AND TOE hAaL Is aERE51 ACCEPTED, and
BE iT FURTAW RE&L&D AND URL ALD that toe Hayor and
the City Clark of the City of Redlanas are hereby authorized,
empowered and directed to accept said grant on behalf of the said
Gity of Redlands.
