GRANT OF EASEMENT

THE GRANTOR', City of Redlands, a Municipal
XXCorporation, hereby grants to CALIFORNIA WATER & TELEPHONE COMPANY, a corporation,
its successors and assigns, the right to construct, use, maintain, alter add to, repair, replace
and/or remove, in, on, under, and over the real property hereinafter described, situated in the
County of San Bernardino , State of California, a telephone line, consisting of poles, neces-
sary guys and anchors, braces, cross-arms, wire, conduits, cables, and other fixtures and appliances,
for conveying electric energy to be used for communication, telephone, telegraph and/or other purposes.
Said real property is described as follows
THE GRANTEE, its successors and assigns, and its and their respective agents and employees,
shall have the right to trim or top such trees or shrubs as may endanger or interfere with said
telephone lane, and shall have free access to said telephone line and every part thereof, at all
times, for the purpose of exercising the rights herein granted

ed in Book 8, Page 81 of Maps, Records of said County and State.
The easement hereby granted extends five feet on each side of the following des-
cribed center line:
Begin at a point on the South line of said Lot I, 144 feet West of its intersect-
ion with the North line of Mill Creek Road, as shown on said map; thence Northwesterly
at a right angle to the Northwest line of said Mill Creek Road, 30 feet.
Also begin on the Northwesterly line of said Mill Creek Road at a point 66 feet
Northeast of its intersection with the South line of said Lot 1; thence Northwesterly
on an external radial line of the curve of said road, 30 feet.
Also begin on the North line of said Mill Creek Road at a point 77 feet West of the
Northerly extension of the iesterly line of Lot 1, Tract 2609, Records of said County
and State; thence Northerly at a right angle to the North line of said road, 30 feet.
Also began at a point on the North line of said Mill Creek Road, 5 feet West of the
Northerly extension of the West line of Lot 8, Tract 2848, Records of said County and
State; thence North, parallel to said Northerly extension of the West line of Lot 1,
30 feet.
