CITY OF FMLANDS, a body politic and corporate, hereby grants to SOtMIM
CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY, a corporation, its successors and assigns, the
right to construct, use, maintain, alter, add to, repair$ replace, and/or
remove, in, on and over the real property hereinafter described, situated
in the County of SAY BM ARDIN0, State of California, an electric line,
consisting of poles, necessarj guys and anchors, cross-arms, wires and
other fixtures and appliances, and one 23 foot by 30 Foot Transfor=mer Pad,
for conveying electric energy to be used for light, heat, power, telephone
and/or other purposes.
Said real property is described as follows:
Parcel 1: A strip of land 10 feet in width lying within Lots 9 and
10, Block 13, Stretch Map of Mentone, as per plat recorded
in Hook 8 of Maps, page 81, records of said County, the
center line of the 10 foot strip of land being described
as follows:
Beginning at a point on the East line of Crofton, Avenue,
452 feet North of the North line of Madeira Avenue, said
East line of Crofton Avenue having a bearing of North 10
39' 00" West; thence South 890 521 20" East 924.06 feet
to the True Point of Beginning; thence South 820 451 50"
East 42.16 Feet to point "A".
The side lines of said 10 foot easement to be prolonged
or shortened to terrainate on the perimeter of the following
described parcel..
Parcel 2: The Transformer Pad being located within the folloYrnng
described property:
That portion of Lot 9, Block 13, Stretch Map of Menton,
as per plat recorded in gook 8 of Maps, page 81, records
of said County, the perimeter being described as follows:
Beginning at point "A" set out hereinabove; thence South
88 511 15" East 30 feet; thence South 10 087 45" West
23 feet thence north 880 511 1a" West 30 feet; thence
North 1 081 45" East 23 feet to the point of beginning.
The Grantee, its successors anti assigns, and its and their respective
agents and employees,, shall have the right to trim or top such trees as may �r
endanger or interfere with said. electric Line, and shall have free access
to said electric line and every part thereof, at all times, For the purpose
of exercising the rights herein granted.

BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Redlands hereby
grants to Southern California Edison. Company, a corporation, its successor
and assigns, the right to constructs

Gentlemen.
The Grand Central Rocket Company has requested our Company to extend its
electric facilities to the Transformer Pad recently installed on your
property.
rhe propose placing one pole near the East end of our existing line and
and extend wires to the Transformer Pad.
It was originally planned to correct the easement covering our existing
facilities at the time of securing a now easement for the Transformer
Pad. However, the easement that was finally recorded does cover our
existing facilities, therefore, no quitclain is necessary as recommended
by Manning and Hartuack and shoran on the accompanying sketch. Apparently
Manning and Hartwick secured a copy of a Grant of Easement covering the
lane as was originally proposed but was later changed to its present
location. Enclosed is a copy of the recorded Grant of Easement covering
our existing facilities.
Also enclosed is our Grant of Easement covering the new instal..latior. if
this meets with your approval, please have the officials sign the enclosed
Grant of .easement, have their signatures acknowledged by a rotary Public,
and return the document in the enclosed envelope. We would also appreciate
a copy of the Resolution granting this easement.
