11 are desirous of securing uniform enforcement of all laws and ordi-
12 nances pertaining to the public health end sanitetion. vtitbln the
13 incor:?orated area of the City of Redlands and the uninoovporated
14 area immediately adjacent thereto emd that the Fealtb Department
15 df the county of Ssm Bernardino is equipped to render such service.

17 pursuant to the foregoing recitals it is hereby mutually
18 agreed:

20 That pursuant to the provisions of Division 10 Part 29
21 Chapter 1, Article 2A of the Health and Safety Code of the State
22 of California,, County agrees to perform by and through the County
23 Health Officer and other employees of the County, all functions
24 relating to the enforcement in the City of Redlands of all ordi-
25 nances thereof relating to public 1ealth and saxe atlono oxce,?t
26 ordinances pertaining to the control of rabies, and the nraicin8 of

therewith, and City agrees to accept such services aiad to pay41
29 the same as hereinafter provided.

31 That the services provided for herein a�all begin on the
32 : first day of Tuly, 1948, and terminate on the 30th, day of June,1949 .

2 That during the time this contract shall remain in
3 effect the County Health Officer and his deputies shall exercise
4 the same powers and duties in the City of Redlands as are conferred=
5 upon health officers thereof by law,

7 That while engaged in the performance of their duties
8 and functions pursuant to this agreemento the County Health Offi-
9 cer, his deputies and employees all be deemed to be Cou.rty offi-
10 cern and employees and not City officers and employees of the City
11 of Redlands,
