Best Best & Krieger LLP is pleased to continue to represent the City of Redlands
("Redlands") regarding the Liberty Lanes Apartment Project Specifically, you have asked us to
assist with defending Redlands in a lawsuit challenging the Project entitled Citizens fol
Equitable Redlands it City of Redlands, el al, San Bernardino Superior Court Case No
CIVDS 1720139 This letter constitutes our agreement setting the terms of our representation
The terms of our representation are as set forth in our original engagement letter with
Redlands My associate, Jennifer Lynch and I will be representing Redlands and my reduced
hourly rate will be$450 and the Of Counsel/Associate hourly rate will be$350
We have checked the following names against our client index Redlands Special
Services, City of Redlands, Citizens for Equitable Redlands, Redlands Supportive Housing, L P ,
A Community of Friends and Abigail Smith Based on the conflict check performed for this
matter it was determined that we have no existing conflicts Please review the list If you do not
tell us to the contrary, we will assume that this list is complete and accurate We request that you
update this Iist for us if there are any changes in the future
