to me in hand paid, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,
do hereby grant to the City of Redlands, California, a municipal
corporation, for.-park purposes, all that real property situated
in the County of San Bernardino, State of California, described
as follows,
Beginning at a point where the northerly line of the
Southern Pacific Railroad right of way crosses the Section line
between sections four (4) and five (5 ) , Township two (2 ) south,
Range three (3) West; thence north one hundred feet (1001 ) ,
thence north ninety degrees (90) no minutes NO) West to the
Southern Pacific Railroad right of way; thence southeasterly
along the northerly line of the Southern Pacific Railroad right
of waythe
to point ofbeginning.
In the event said city shall not , an or before two (2) ,
years from the date of this deed, make use of said land for park
purposes and thereafter tu use the same therefor, then the title
to said property shall thereupon revert to me, Ak,y uv Lar, LiiAU c,,o
signs and this conveyance shall thereupon be of no effect or force.

said east line of Section five (5) , one hundred (100) feet; thence
north ninety (90) degrees, no (Oce) minutes West , ninety-nine and
eighty-five hundredths (99.85 ) feet to the northerly line of the
Southern Pacific Railroad property; thence southeasterly along the
northerly line of the Southern Pacific Railroad property to the
point of beginning.
In the event said city shall not, on or before two (2)
years from the date of this deed , make use of said land for park
purposes and thereafter use the same therefor, then the title to

and this conveyance shall thereupon be of no effect or force.
