GRANT DEED AND GRANT OF EASEMENTS
The City of Redlands , A Municipal Corporation, organized and
existing under the laws of California (hereinafter called Grantor) ,
does hereby Grant and Convey unto the San Bernardino Valley Water
Conservation District , a Public Agency organized and existing under
the laws of the State of California (hereinafter called Grantee) ,
for the sum of one dollar ($1 . 00) and other valuable consideration,
receipt of which is hereby acknowledged , the following interests in
the zeal property described as follows
PARCEL NO I ' M
All right , title and interest to the real property described `
in Exhibit 1 (consisting of 3 described parcels , Parcels A, B , and
C) hereto on condition that the said real property be used for
water conservation , spreading and percolation consistent with the
usual business and purpose of the Grantee and, in the event said
property or portions thereof , are no longer used for said water
conservation purpose , the same shall revert to Grantor
Grantor reserves the right to construct water treatment
facilites , water wells , operate and maintain existing water wells
and additional water facilities and wells upon the property as the

Grantor shall determine , the right of ingress and egress to repair ,
maintain and operate existing and such future water facilities
together with pipelines and appurtenances , and the rights to water
obtained and developed thereby
Grantor hereby absolves and agrees to hold San Bernardino Valley
Water Conservation District harmless from any and all damage arising
out of water encroachment on well sites and all water facilities .
PARCEL NO II -
An easement in gross upon the real property described in Exhibit
2 (consisting of two parcels) hereto to place , flow and convey water
on and across the said property for the purpose of water spreading
and percolation purposes and, in addition , to allow ingress and
egress to said property and to use roads and roadways over and upon
the said property Grantor shall hold Grantee harmless from damage
arising from water encroachment on said property.
Grantee shall provide utility companies with necessary easements
for their existing facilities or as requested in the future by the
Grantor for additional public utilities that may be required for
future water faci.lties constructed by the Grantor .
Grantee shall not extend or expand existing water spreading or
percolation basins nor construct additional facilities that would
cause edge of water above ground to be less than 2S0 feet from any
existing ,Tater well on either Parcel No . I or II ,

executed by its Mayor and City Clerk thereunto duly authorized,

Improvement An amended improvement agreement for the future instal-

On motion of Councilman DeMir3Yn, seconded by Councilman

Holidays for City employees as coordinanted by the three employee
associations were approved by AYE votes of all present.
Fifteen light standards of an old design which have been
Surplus stored by the City for over five years were declared
Light surplus and donated to the Footlighters, Inc. for use
Standards at their new facility on motion of Councilman DeM3-r3Yn,
seconded by Councilman Knudsen.
On motion of Councilman DeMir3Yn, seconded by Council-
man Riordan, Council approved the execution of a Grant
Deed and Deed and Grant of Easements for property described as
Easements Parcels A, B, and C of the Lockheed property and
described in Exhibit 1, attached to the document, to
Water the San Bernardino Valley Water Conservation District
Conservation and authorized the Mayor and City Clerk to sign said
District document. This property is to be used for water
conservation, spreading, and percolation by the Water
Conservation District
On motion of Councilman Knudsen, seconded by Councilman
Funds Riordan, authorization was given for expenditure of
$1, 600 00 to replace two stolen 3ackhammers which
disappeared from the City Yards recently

Suspension On motion of Councilman DeMir3yn, seconded by Council-
Building man Knudsen, the City Attorney was authorized to pre-
Permits Pare and bring back to the next meeting a draft
