FOR THE PROVISION OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES WITH WILLDAN ENGINEERING
This first amendment ("First Amendment") to the agreement dated May 16, 2017 (the
"Agreement") by and between the City of Redlands, a municipal corporation ("City"), and
Willdan Engineering ("Consultant"), is made and entered into this 6th day of February, 2018.
RECITALS
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City and Consultant to amend their existing
Agreement, specifically Article 5 entitled "Payments to Consultant," to increase Consultant's
present total compensation of One Hundred Forty Thousand Dollars ($140,000) to the amount of
Three Hundred Ninety Thousand Dollars ($390,000) for Consultant's continued provision of
plan review, building inspection, building official, and Certified Access Specialist Program
(CASP) consulting services;
NOW, THEREFORE, City and Consultant agree as follows:
AGREEMENT
Section 1. Article 5 of the Agreement, entitled "Payments to Consultant," is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"5.1 The total compensation for Consultant's performance of the Services shall not
exceed the amount of Three Hundred Ninety Thousand Dollars ($390,000). City shall pay
Consultant on a time and materials basis up to the `not to exceed amount' based upon the hourly
rates shown in Exhibit `C,' entitled "Rate Schedule," which is attached hereto and incorporated
herein by this reference."
Section 2. All other provisions of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this First Amendment to be
effective as of February 6, 2018.
