University Street in the City of Redlands (a portion of county of San Bernardino Assessor's Parcel Number 0170-142-07) as depicted in Exhibit "A" attached herein, as an historic resource; and WHEREAS, the Historic and Scenic Preservation Commission subsequently nominated the Redlands Lawn Bowling Club facility as an historic resource in accordance with the procedures established by Chapter 2.62 of the Redlands Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, on October 20, 2015, the City Council of the City of Redlands held a duly noticed public hearing to consider the recommendation of the Historic and Scenic Preservation Colnlnission; and WHEREAS, on October 20, 2015, the City Council of the City of Redlands approved Resolution No. 7572 designating 411 N. University Street as an historic resource in accordance with the provisions of Section 2.62.170 of the Redlands Municipal Code, because the Lawn Bowling Club facility possesses significant character, interest, or value as part of the development, heritage, or cultural characteristics of the City of Redlands; and WHEREAS, Exhibit "A" to Resolution No. 7572 (defining the boundaries of Historic Resource No. 24 for Redlands Lawn Bowling Club) was not referenced within Resolution No. 7572, resulting in uncertainty as to the precise boundaries of the lawn bowling facility as the specific historic resource; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Resolution No. 7572 of the City Council of the City of Redlands is hereby amended to specifically identify the boundaries of The Redlands Lawn Bowling Club facility, owned by the City of Redlands and designated as Historic Resource No. 124, as shown in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. 1 I:\cclerk\Resolutions\Res 7800-7899\7815 Historic Resource 124 Lawn Bowling Club.docx Section 2. The historic elements of the Lawn Bowling Club facility as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto, as such historic elements exist on the effective date of this Resolution, shall not be altered on the exterior, moved, demolished, subdivided, or otherwise permanently changed unless a Certificate of Appropriateness or Certificate of Hardship has been first issued by the City of Redlands. Section 3. The City Clerk of the City of Redlands is hereby directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder, County of San Bernardino. Section 4. The City Council hereby determines that the approval of this Resolution is exempt from environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") pursuant to section 15061(b)(3) of the State Guidelines implementing because it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that approval of this Resolution may result in a significant effect on the enviromnent.
