A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
APPROVING PRE -ANNEXATION AGREEMENT NO 18-01 RELATING TO
OUTSIDE CITY UTILITY CONNECTIONS FOR 30 RESIDENTIAL LOTS IN
THE UNINCORPORATED COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO
WHEREAS, Apex Pacific Asset Management, LLC has filed applications for Outside City
Case No 18-27 and Pre -Annexation Agreement No 18-01 with the City of Redlands for outside
City utility connections for residential development for Tentative Tract Map No 20030 on a 5 5 -
acre site (APNs 0298-231-32-0000 and 0298-231-44-0000) located at the southeast corner of
Crafton and Nice Avenues in the unincorporated community of Mentone, and
WHEREAS, on May 1, 2018, the City Council found that Tentative Tract Map No 20030
was consistent with the City of Redlands General Plan and the public health, safety, welfare and
best interests of the citizens of Redlands are served by the City's continued processing of the
Outside City Case application and directed staff to prepare a Pre -Annexation Agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF REDLANDS AS FOLLOWS
SECTION 1 The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby determines that no further
environmental analysis is required in connection with the consideration of the proposed Pre -
Annexation Agreement because approval of the agreement does not trigger any of the conditions
listed in State CEQA Guidelines Section 15162 that would require a subsequent Mitigated
Negative Declaration
SECTION 2 The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby approves Pre -Annexation
No 18-01 for the provision of water and sewer service for the development of thirty (30) single
family residential lots (Tentative Tract Map No 20030) on approximately 5 5 acres located at the
southeast corner of Crafton and Nice Avenues in the unincorporated community of Mentone
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 19"' day of June, 2018
