A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS PURSUANT TO TITLE 10 OF THE
REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE ESTABLISHING RESTRICTED TURNING
MOVEMENTS AND NO PARKING ZONES ON WABASH AVENUE AT CRAFTON
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
WHEREAS, pursuant to studies made under the authority of Title 10 of the Redlands
Municipal Code, and the presentation of information contained in such studies, the City Council
of the City of Redlands has determined that certain traffic regulations are necessary to protect the
public health, safety and welfare and should be established pursuant to Title 10 of the Redlands
Municipal Code,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF REDLANDS as follows
Section 1 This City Council determines that approval of this Resolution is exempt
from review under California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") pursuant to CEQA
Guidelines section 15301(c) which provides exemption for minor alterations of existing public
streets and sidewalks This City Council finds with certainty that the improvements involve
negligible or no expansion of an existing use
Section 2 Pursuant to Section 10 40 310 of the Redlands Municipal Code, the City
Council hereby establishes
A A no parking zone for approximately 80 feet on the west side of Wabash Avenue
adjacent to Crafton Elementary School beginning at the northerly drive approach and
heading north
B A no parking zone for approximately 20 feet on the west side of Wabash Avenue
adjacent to Crafton Elementary School beginning at the southerly drive approach and
heading north
C Restricted turning movements, to right in and right out only, for the Crafton
Elementary School parking lot located at 311Wabash Avenue
Section 3 City staff is hereby authorized and directed to post the appropriate signage
and effectuate the necessary markings to implement this resolution
