propoeition to the Redlands, Lugonia and Sraf ton Donestic
Water Company, for the pu.rch ee of its water rights, situated
in Reservoir Canytn, and all of its reservoirs, pipe liaes
and distribut_:nq system : n ua,id city, and is about to join
in an-iPlica.tion with said Con:), -n, to the Railroad Commission
of the Mate of California., for an order of said Co=mission,
authorizing and permitting said company to sell said property
to said City; amd
MYRIAB, in acquiring such property, the said City
Of 4edlands takes the sane, suuj ect to any legal claim
for grater which nay or might be enforced against said
Company;

of the City of Redlands, as follows; --
Thai the City of Redlands prepare, execute and file
a stinuloti.on inx connection with suM upplica,tion and as a
Fart t;iereof, to the effect that the City of Redlands takes
the property of said ,Yater Company mentioned and described in
said application and all water riGhts that mAy be conveyed to
said city with the uncerotanding that any legal claim for
outer which may be enforced against the said company, may
likewise be enforced agains! the said city. The intent of
such condition being Ant the City shall not 3re:i,se in vaW
proc+e -:ding the point that the ner. e fpct of such transfer
to aa.id city of any of such property, has changed the legal
status of the ,property, with roference to its public duties
