A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
ACCEPTING THE DONATION OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT
302W COLTON AVENUE (APN 0169-053-11-0000)
WHEREAS, Spartan Partners wishes to donate certain real property identified as County
of San Bernardino Assessor's Parcel Number 0169-053-11-0000, and
WHEREAS, City is willing to accept the donation of said property, and
WHEREAS, in 2015, the City placed a lien on the subject property with the County of San
Bernardino in the amount of thirty one thousand three hundred sixty dollars thirty cents
($31,360 30) for unpaid fines associated with administrative citations resulting from code
enforcement violations, and
WHEREAS, in 2016, the City placed a lien on the subject property with the County of San
Bernardino in the amount of nine thousands four hundred dollars thirty cents ($9,400 30) for
unpaid fines associated with administrative citations resulting from code enforcement violations,
and
WHEREAS, as of June 18, 2018, both liens have accrued penalties and interest in the total
amount of seventeen thousand fifty seven dollars eighty four cents ($17,057 84), and
WHEREAS, upon close of escrow, City will submit a request to the County of San
Bernardino to remove liens placed on the subject property in the amount of fifty seven thousand
eight hundred eighteen dollars forty four cents ($57,818 44), and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands as
follows
Section 1 That upon close of escrow, City will submit a request to the County of San
Bernardmo to remove liens placed on the subject property in the amount of fifty seven thousand
eight hundred eighteen dollars forty four cents ($57,818 44)
