Redlands, CA 92373 w OCT 2018 909-798-7698 C14 RECEIVED MEMORANDUM`4es Cug Nfanager s za Office N ENRIQUE MARTINEZ, CITY MANAGER DON YOUNG, ONE STOP PERMIT CENTER MANAGER SAVAT KHAMPHOU, DEPUTY DIRECTOR OCTOBER 3, 2018 GRANT OF ROADWAY EASEMENT FOR 1300 PIONEER AVENUE RECOMMENDATION I am recommending the City Manager execute the attached Certificate of Acceptance for a roadway easement BACKGROUND As a condition shown on the Lien Agreement to Secure Construction of Public Improvements dated July 28, 1988 for 1300 Pioneer Avenue, the owner is required to provide 32 foot half width roadway right-of-way for street improvements on Pioneer Avenue The property is located on the South side of Pioneer Avenue between Tivoli Drive and Judson Street, in the City of Redlands The owners, Jesus R Roque and Elizabeth Roque have requested the certificates of acceptance from the City (see attached originals) The form of the easement document was reviewed by the City Attorney and is deemed acceptable The legal description was reviewed by the MUED engineering staff and is also deemed acceptable The San Bernardino County Recorder requires all easements offered to a public agency to have a Certificate of Acceptance executed by a representative of the agency.
