Special meeting of the City Council of the City of Redlands held in the Council Chambers, Civic Center, 35 Cajon
Street, on August 15, 2018 at 4 00 P M

Mayor Foster called the special meeting to order and offered those present the opportunity to provide public
comment on any subject within the jurisdiction of the City Council
PUBLIC COMMENT
Open Government&Equal Employment Opportunities- Stephen Rogers expressed frustration with the City's
processing of his requests for public documents related to the Skatepark and PARIS projects and the time
extension for the Tentative Parcel Map approval of the Redlands Crossing/Super Walmart project He
pointed out his requests were not fulfilled in a timely manner and he questioned whether the documents
received were responsive to his original requests Additionally,he voiced concerns with the recent departures
of four department directors and suggested a hostile work environment exists for City staff City Attorney
McHugh explained staff provided responsive records to Mr Roger's records requests and recommended in the
future,Mr Rogers add specific details as to what documents he would like to see This would help to
eliminate confusion as staff works to fulfill his requests

Mayor Foster announced that no reportable action would be taken during the closed session

There being no further business,the meeting adjourned at 4 10 P M The next regular meeting of the City of
Redlands City Council will be held on September 4, 2018
