A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO 7619
WHEREAS, for purposes of efficiency in the administration of City policies, Staff
recommends that the City Council consider approving Resolution No 7923 rescinding Resolution
No 7619 to allow staff to continuously update and amend the City's Injury and Illness
Prevention Program,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands as
follows
Section 1 The City's Injury and Illness Prevention Program("IIPP") was adopted and
implemented in compliance with California Labor Code Section 6401 7 mandating employers to
provide employees with safe and healthy working conditions, and to ensure compliance with
Cal-OSHA guidelines, the IIPP shall be reviewed and updated annually by City staff, or when
there are significant changes to the workplace such as new substances, processes, procedures,
and whenever the employer is made aware of a new or previously unrecognized hazard
Section 2 Resolution No 7619 of the City Council of the City of Redlands is hereby
rescinded
