HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances_2890ORDINANCE NO 2890 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADOPTING A REVISED LAND USE ZONING MAP (ZONE CHANGE NO 460) WHEREAS, un accordance with Government Code section 65855, the Planning Commission of the City of Redlands has reviewed proposed Zone Change No 460 (the "Zone Change") to change the City's land use zoning snap for 8 78 acres identified as Assessor's Parcel Numbers 0171-011-15-0000, 0171-011-18-0000, 0171-011-19-0000, 0171-011-27-0000, 0171-011-28-0000, 0171-011-38-0000, 0171-011-40-0000, 0171- 011-43-0000, 0171-011-45-0000, 0171-011-47-0000, 0171-011-54-0000, 0171-011-56- 0000, 0171-011-58-0000, 0171-011-61-0000, and 0171-011-62-0000 from "General Industrial (M-2)" to "Administrative and Professional Office (A -P)" District, and WHEREAS, on January 22, 2019, the Planning Commission held a noticed public hearing on the Zone Change and considered verbal and written testimony of City staff, the applicant for the proposed Zone Change, and testimony from members of the public, and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended to the City Council that the Zone Change be approved, and WHEREAS on February 7, 2019, notice of this City Council's public hearing for the Zone Change was published in the Redlands Daily Facts by the City Clerk, and WHEREAS, on February 19, 2019, the City Council held a public hearnig and considered the staff written and oral reports, the recommendation of the Planning Coimimission, the testnnony and written evidence submitted by and on behalf of the applicant, and testimony by membcrs of the public, and WHEREAS, following the public hearing on the Zone Change, at which this City Council provided opportunity for public testimony, the City Council determined that adoption of the Zone Change is in the best interests of the public health, safety and general welfare, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS Section 1. The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby adopts the Mitigated Negative Declaration for Zone Change No 460 and Commission Review and Approval No 901 and the accompanying mitigation monitoring and reporting program Section 2 The zoning designation for approximately 8 78 acres of property, generally located southerly of West Park Avenue and westerly of New York Street, identified as Assessor's Parcel Numbers 0171-011-15-0000, 0171-011-18-0000, 0171- I I 10rdinanceslNos 2500-2899 in Wor&2890 Ord ZC 460 doc 011-19-0000, 0171-011-27-0000, 0171-011-28-0000, 0171-011-38-0000, 0171-011-40- 0000, 0171-011-43-0000, 0171-011-45-0000, 0171-011-47-0000, 0171-011-54-0000, 0171-011-56-0000, 0171-011-58-0000, 0171-011-61-0000, and 0171-011-62-0000are hereby changed from the from General Industrial (M-2) to the "Administrative and Professional Office (A -P)" District on the City's Land Use Zoning Map as more particularly shown on the map attached hereto as Exhibit "A " Section 3 The Mayor shall sign this ordinance and the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and shall cause it, or a summary of it, to be published once in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation within the City, and thereafter, this ordinance shall take effect in accordance with law f Paul W Foster, Mayor ATTEST 1 e Donaldson, City Clerk 2 I \OrdmancesWos 2800-2899 in Word12890 Ord ZC 460 .doc I, Jeanne Donaldson, City Clerk of the City of Redlands, hereby certify that the foregoing ordinance was duly adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting thereof held on the 5' day of March 2019 AYES Councllmembers Barich, Tejeda, Momberger, Davis, Mayor Foster NOES None ABSTAIN None ABSENT None ')�EAne-= LC4� J e Donaldson, City Clerk I \OrdmancesWos 2800-2899 in Word12890 Ord ZC 460 .doc
