3 THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT effective as of the lst day
4 of July, 1983, is entered into by and between the CITY OF SAN
5 BERNARDINO, a municipal corporation, ( "City" ) , and the CITY OF
6 REDLANDS, a municipal corporation, ( "Contracting Agency" ) .
7 The parties agree as follows:
8 1. Recitals.
9 (a) City and Contracting Agency entered into an
10 agreement effective as of July 1, 1982 (" the agreement") , relating
11 to the impounding and disposal of animals.
12 (b) The parties now desire to amend the agreement to
13 provide for a one year extension of its term.
14 2. Amendment.
15 (a) Term. The term of the agreement is extended for an
16 additional period of one year commencing July 1, 1983, and
17 terminating June 30, 1984.
18 3. Other Provisions. All other terms and conditions of the
19 agreement as previously adopted, including those provisions for
20 payment of fees, shall remain the same and be in full force and
21 effect.
