A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
APPROVING THE PRE-ANNEXATION AGREEMENT NO. 15-03
RELATING TO OUTSIDE C1TY UTILITY CONNECTIONS FOR A SINGLE -
FAMILY DWELLING IN THE UNINCORPORATED AREA OF THE
COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO
WHEREAS, Nonnan Charlein has filed an application for Outside City Case No. 18-01
and Pre-Amlexation No. 18-03 with the City of Redlands for outside City utility corv«ectio��s for
a single-fainily dwelling on an 11,200 square-foot parcel (APN: 0302-152-15-0000) located at
2829 Mill Creek Road ll�the unincorporated coinmunity of Mentone; and
WHEREAS, on July 17, 2018, the City Council found that Outside City Case No 18-01
was consistent with the City of Redlands General Plan and the public health, safety, welfare aild
best interests of the citiz�ns of Redlands are served by the City's continued processing of the
Outside City Case application and directed staff to prepare a Pre-Annexation Agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF REDLANDS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby determines that approval of this Resolution is
exempt from review under the California Envirorunental Quality Act ("CEQA") pursuant to
State CEQA Guidelines sections 15303 and 15319 as CEQA exeinpts certaul annexations and
the new construction of small structures.
SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby approves Pre-
Annexation No. 18-03 for the provision of water for the development a single-fainily dwelling
located at 2829 Mill Creek Road in the unincorporated coirununity of Mentone.
