RESOLUTION FINDING A PORTION OF ROOSEVELT ROAD Ia 'UNNECESSARY FOR PRESENT OR PRO--
PECTIVL PUBLIC STREET PURPUSLS AND ORDERING THE VACATION OF SAID PORTION OF STRGLT,
The City Council of the City of 'Redla,nd�,, ordains and resolves as follows:
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands having elected to
proceed cinder provisions of Division 5, Part 1, Chapter 2 of the Streets and High— ;
ways Code of the ;state of California, and having held a public hearing as provided
therein, hereby finds from all the evidence subm:Ltted that the portion of the street
described in this resolution is unnecessary for .Enresernt or prospective public street
purposes and that the public interest acid convenience requires the closing; of said
street.
SECTION TWO: This City Council hereby orders the vacation of a portion
of Roosevelt Road, described as follows:
All that portion of Roosevelt Road in the City of Redlands,
County of San liYri nardino, State of California, lying; North—
easterly of the following described line;
COMMENCING at the center line intersection of Highland Avenue
and Roosevelt Hoad, said point being at the most Lasterly
corner of Block "D" of Second Preliminary I'dap of dtedlands, as
per plat recorded in Book 5 of Maps, page 2, records of said
County; thence alone t.ie Southeanterly prolongation of said
center line of Roosevelt Road, South 330 37' 45" East 50.00
Meet; thence parallel with the center line of Highland Avenue,
North 5€0 200 East 30.00 feet to the true point of beginning;
thence from the true; point of
BEGINNING, parallel with said Soathe;a►sterly prolongation of
Roosevelt dioad, South 330 371 45" East 299,82 feet to its
terminus at a point of the center line of vacated Crescent
Avenue.
