REISOLUTIGN FINDING A PORTION OF R.00SEVELT ROAD IS UNNECESSARY FOR PRESENT OR PRO-
SPECTIVE PUBLIC STREET PURPOSES .AND ORDERING THE VACATION Or SAID PORTION OF SliR�'.ET,
The City Council of the City of Redlands ordains and resolves as foltors:
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Iedlands having elected to
proceed under previsions of Division 5., Part 1„ Chapter 2 of the Streets and I1gh-
ways Code of the State of California, and having held sa public hearing as provided
therein, hereby finds from all the evidence submitted that the partaon of the st eot
described in this regolution is unnecessary for present or prospective public aat"reet
purposes and than; the public interest and convenience requires the clogang of aid
street.
SECTION TWO. This City Council hereby orders the vacation of a portion
of Roosevelt Road, described as follows:
All that portion of Roosevelt Road sometimes known as Reser-
voir Street in Lot 4, Block B, 2nd Preliminary Alap of Redlands,
Addition No. 1, City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino,
State of California, as per plat recorded in Book 5 of I-laps,
Page 2 thereof, being a strip of land 15 feet in width ex-
tendin- ;from the northwesterly lane of Highland Avenue to the
southeasterly line of New Avenue and lying northeasterly of
and adjacent to a line 30 feet from and parallel w3.th the
centerline of said Roosevelt Road.
