RESOLUTION FINDING A PORTION OF FOUNTAIN AVENUE IS UNNECESSARY FOR PRESENT OR
PROSPECTIVE PUBLIC STREET PURPOSES AND ORDERING THE VACATION OF SAID PORTION
OF STREET,
The City Council of the City of Redlands ordains and resolves as follows-
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands having elected to
proceed under provisions of Division 5, Part 1, Chapter 2 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California, and having held a public hearing as
provided therein, hereby finds from all the evidence submitted that the portion
of street described in this resolution is unnecessary for present or prospective
public street purposes and that the public interest and convenience requires the
closing of said street.
SECTION TWO.- This City Council hereby orders the vacation of a portion of
Fountain Avenue, described as follows-
All that portion of Fountain Avenue, said Avenue is shown on Tract
No. 3940, Elizabeth Heights, in the City of Redlands, County of San
Bernardino, State of California, as per plat recorded in Book 53 of
Maps, page 46, records of said County, described as follows-
COXNENCING at the Southwest corner of Lot 10, of said Tract No. 3940,
said corner lies on the Northwesterly line of said Fountain Avenue,
at the beginning of a curve, concave to the North and whose radius
is 20.00 feet; thence Westerly along said curve 13.71 feet and
through a central angle of 39°17t 06" to the true point of beginnings
thence from the true point of
BEGINNING, continuing Westerly along said curve 0.74 feet and through
a central angle of 20 079 20" to a point of reverse curve; thence
curving to the left, on a radius of 40-00 feet, along an arc distance
of 183.48 feet and thhough a central angle of 262 48 8 52" to a point
of reverse curve; thence curving to the right, on a radius of 20.00
feet, along an are distance of 0.74 feet and through a central angle
of 21 07, 201, to a point on a curve concave to the East and whose
radius is ,4.Qa00 feet, and whose initial tangent bears North 70° 061 2911
West; thence Northerly along said curve 66.43 feet, and throw a
central angle of 95' 09t 28" to the true point of beginning.
