HomeMy WebLinkAbout1070 RESOLUTION NO 1070 The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby resolves that Resolution No. 1034 shall be amended to read as follows. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redlands has adopted a minute order dated August 15, 1955, concerning the use of revenues by the City from parking meters within Redlands Vehicle Parking District No. 1, and. WHEREAS, the minute order of the City Council provided as follows. "1. That 100% of all parking revenues developed within the district be allocated to the Parking District Number One for the retirement of bonds or cash assessments and future expansion of facilities, and that the City establish collection procedures which will provide for separate accounting of these funds. 2. That 50% of these revenues be used for bond retirement or repaying cash assessments and 50% for future parking facilities expansion." WHEREAS, on the 3rd day of September, 1958, notices of the amounts of assessments against properties within Redlands Vehicle Parking District No. 1 were recorded in the Recorder's office of San Bernardiag County; 3E IT HEREBY RESOLVED, 1. That the date for the first payment of net revenues collected by the City of Redlands from parking meters within Redlands Vehicle Parking District No. 1 shall be the lst day of September, 1958• 2. That the date, September 1, 1958, is adopted because the property owners became legally obligated to pay assessments during September, and the first day of said month is adopted for reasons of accounting convenience."
