RESOLUTION OF INTENTION
TO RELOCATE AND REALIGN FIRST STREET BETWEEN STUART STRMT AND WEST CENTRAL
AVENUE AND TO ACQUIRE PROPERTY FOR RIGHT OF WAY PURPOSES.
WHEIRRA,S, First Street is an existing street dedicated for public use as a
right of way between Stuart Avenue and West Central Avenue in the City of
Redlands.
WHEREAS, the public health, safety, convenience and welfare requires the
relocation and realignment of First Street to provide proper and safe ingress
and egress for traffic from the Redlands Section of the Highway 99 Freeway;
BE IT H&REBY RESOLVED
1. That the City Council of the City of Redlands determines and
finds that the public interest requires the relocation and
realignment of First Street as shown on the map attached to
this resolution as Exhibit "A".
2. That the City Council authorizes and orders the acquisition
of property for the purpose of locating First Street as shown
on said map designated Exhibit ;EA;;.
3. That it is the intention of this City Council to acquire said
property before the lst day of August, 1960.
ADOPTED., SIGNED AND APPROVED THIS 15th day of March, 1960.
