RESOLUTION NO. 1060
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS CHANGING THE
NAME OF A PORTION OF STREET EXTENDING ONE BLOCK EAST OF FRANKLIN AVENUE,
PRESENTLY CALLED "HILTON AVENUE. "
WHEREAS , this portion of Hilton Avenue and Sunset Drive in the
City of Redlands , County of San Bernardino , have names and locations
of a nature that presently confuse the public , and
WHEREAS , pursuant to Government Code Section 65711, the Planning
Commission recommended the single name , "Sunset Drive" ;
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL.
That the portion of street extending one block East of Franklin
Avenue within the City of Redlands , formerly known as "Hilton Avenue"
shall henceforth have the name "Sunset Drive . "
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 3rd day of August, 1959 .
