RESOLUTION FINDING A PORTION OF qES T STATE STREET lS UNNECESSARY FOR PRESENT
OR PROSPECTIVE PUBLIC STREET PURPOSES AND OPLERING THE VACATION OF SAID PORTION
OF STREET4
The City Council of the City of Redlands ordains and resolves as follows;
SECTION ONE4 The City Council of the City of Redlands having elected
to proceed under provisions of Division 59 Part 1, Chapter 2 of the Streets
and Highways Code of the State of California, and having held a public hearing
as provided therein, hereby finds from a-11 the evidence submitted that the
portion of street described in this resolution is unnecessary for present or
prospective public street purposes and that the public interest and con-
venience requires the closing of said street.
SECTION TWO. This City Council hereby orders the vacation of a portion
of West State Street, described as follows.
All those portions of crest State Street in the City of Redlands,
County of San Bernardino, State of California, as shown on a map
of Barton Ranch recorded in Book 6 of Maps, Page 19, records of
said County, lying northwesterly of the following described lines
COMMENCING at the centerline intersection of New York Street and
Citrus Avenue; thence along said centerline of Citrus Avenue,
North 89' 51p 15" East 402.12 feet; thence North 0° 08' 45" West
32.00 feet to the true point of beginning of the aforesaid
following described line; said true point of beginning is the
beginning of a curve, concave to the Northwest and whose radius
is 368 feet, and whose initial tangent bears North 89' 51' 15"
East; thence from the true point of BEGINNING, Northeastex°ly along
said curve, 341.69 feet and through a central angle of 53' 121 ;
thence North 36' 39' 152' East 378 feet more or less to the ter-
minus of the aforesaid following described line at a point on the
Northwesterly line of West State Street4
