RESOLUTION NO. 1077
RESOLUTION FINDING PORTIONS OF ALL STREETS AND ALLEYS IN THE
NEBRASKA TRACT ARE UNNECESSARY FOR PRESENT OR PROSPECTIVE PUBLIC
STREET PURPOSES AND ORDERING THE VACATION OF SAID PORTIONS OF
STREETS .
The City Council of the City of Redlands ordains and resolves
as follows :
SECTION ONE- The City Council of the City of Redlands having
elected to proceed under provisions of Division 5 , Part 1, Chapter
2 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, and
having held a public hearing as provided therein, hereby finds from
all the evidence submitted that the portions of the streets des-
cribed in this resolution are unnecessary for present or prospective
public street purposes and that the public interest and convenience
requires the closing of said streets .
SECTION TWO: This City Council hereby orders the vacation of
portions of all streets and alleys in the Nebraska Tract , described
as follows .
All those alleys and streets in the City of Redlands , County
of San Bernardino , State of California as shown on a map of
the Nebraska Tract as recorded in Book 15 of Maps , page 97 ,
records of said County.
1. All that portion of an alley of 15 foot width lying 7. 5
feet northwesterly and 7 . 5 southeasterly of the following
described line :
Commencing at the centerline intersection of Olive Avenue and
San Mateo Street , which is also the northwest corner of Lot 5 ,
Block P, of the 2nd Preliminary Map of Redlands , thence along
the centerline of San Mateo Street south 331 401 east 227.5
feet ; thence north 561 201 east 30 feet to the true point of
beginning; thence north 561 20' east 600 feet to the terminus
of said line.
2. All that portion of Clark Street , a street of 25 foot width
lying 12. 5 feet northwesterly and 12 5 feet southeasterly of
the following described line
Commencing at the centerline intersection of Olive Avenue and
San Mateo Street which is also the northwest corner of Lot 59
Block P of the 2nd Preliminary Map of Redlands , thence along
the centerline of San Mateo Street south 331 401 east 647 . 50
fee- , thence north 56° 201 east 30 feet to the true point of
beginning; thence north 561 20 ' east 600 feet to the terminus
of said line .

3. All that portion of San Jacinto Street , a street of 30
foot width, lying 15 feet northeasterly and 15 feet south-
westerly of the following described line -.
Commencing at the centerline intersection of Olive Avenue and
San Mateo Street which is also the northwest corner of Lot 5 ,
Block P of the 2nd Preliminary Map of Redlands , thence along
the centerline of Olive Avenue north 56° 201 east 645 feet ,
thence south 331 401 east 50 feet to the true point of
beginning, thence south 330 40 ' east 610 feet to the terminus
of said line .
4. All that portion of an alley of 15 foot width lying 7 . 5
feet northeasterly and 7 . 5 feet southwesterly of the following
described line .
Commencing at the centerline intersection of Olive Avenue and
San Mateo Street which is also the northwest corner of Lot 5 ,
Block P of the 2nd Preliminary Map of Redlands , thence along
the centerline of San Mateo Street south 330 401 east 235 feet ;
thence north 560 201 east 165 feet to the true point of
beginning; thence south 33' 40 ' east 400 feet to the terminus
of said line .
5o All that portion of an alley of 15 foot width lying 7 5
feet northeasterly and 7 . 5 feet ,southwesterly of the following
described line :
Commencing at the centerline intersection of Olive Avenue and
San Mateo Street which is also the northwest corner of Lot 5 ,
Block P of the 2nd Preliminary Map of Redlands ; thence along
the centerline of San Mateo Street south 330 401 east 235
feet ; thence north 561 201 east 495 feet to the true point
of beginning; thence south 33' 40 ' east 400 feet to the
terminus of said line
