RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDIA ,DS FINDING TEAT ALL OF HIL SIDE LANE IS UNNECESSARY FOR
PRESENT OR FROSPECTIVE STREET PUPPOSES AND ORDERING VACATION OF SAID STREET.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RE,DLARDS ordains an resolves as follows:
SECTION ONE: The City Councils of the City of Badlands having elected to prcceed under
provisions of Division 5, Phrt 1, Chapter 2 of the Streets and Hi.ghuAys Code of the State
of California, and having held a public hearing as prouided therein, hereby finds from all
the evidence submitted that the street described in this resolution is unnecessary for present
or prospective street purposes and that the public interest and convenience requires the
closing of said street. N

SECTION TOO: The City Council hereby orders the vacation of Hillside Lane described CG
as follows:
As indicated on map of Met 21.99, WsWood Subdivision No. 1 as
zecorded in Ebok 32 of daps, Fage 13 thereof, records of said County,
lying vesterly of a line 15 feet westerly from and parallel with the
centefline of lbsttmod Lane, a street of 30 foot right-of-way, as
shown on said map.
SECTION THREE: In the proceeding herein adopted by this City Courni.l for the vacation
of the street described in Section 2, the City of Redlands reserves and excepts from the
vaeati.on the pery rent. easement and right at any time, or from time to time, to construct,
Wntai.n, operate, replace, remDve and renew sanitary sewers and stcrm drains and appurte-
nant structures in, upon, over and across any street or part thereof proposed to be vacated
and pursuant to any existing franchises or inewals thereof, or otherwise, to consi'►x'not,
maint;Mn operate, replace, remove, renyw and enlarge lines of pipe, conduits, cables, wires,
poles, and other convenient structures, equipment and fixtures for the operation of gas
pipe lines, telegraphic and telephone lines, railroad lines; and for the distribution or
transportation of electric energy, petroleum, and :its products, ammonia, water , and
incidental purposes, including access and right to keep the property free from inf'lammmable
:aateri,.als, and wood growth, and to otb°rvise protect the sane from all bazardo in, upon,
and over the street pvoposed tole vacated.
SECTION FOUR: The City Council hereby determznes that the vacation of the street
described herein is required by public interest, convenience, safey and velfare.
