THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF `REDLANDS hereby ordains and resolves as follows: SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands having elected to proceed tinder the provisions of Division 99 Part 39 Chapter 2 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, and having held a public hearing as provided therein, hereby find from all the evidence submitted that that portion of street described in this resolution are unnecessary for present or prospective street purposes and that the public interest and convenience requires the closing of that portion %# said street, SECTION TWO; The City Council hereby orders the vacation of that portion of High Avenue described as follows: All that yort on of High Avenue in the northeast quarter of Block 27 in the City of 9e01an.ds, County of San Bernardino, State of California as recorded in Book 7 of Maps, Page 2 of records of said County described as follows: Commencing at the southeast corner of Lot 30 of the Rancho San Bernardino, being also the intersection of the northerly right-of-way line of 60 foot wide High Avenue and the westerly right-of-way line of 60 foot wide Church Street, thence along said northerly line of High Avenue, south 89' 50, 57" west 14 feet to the true point of beginning, thence continuing along the northerly line of High Avenue south 89' 501 57" west 82.83 feet to a point in the northerly right-of-way line of Interstate Highway No. 10, thence along said northerly line of Interstate Highway No. 10 south 58' 221 OOt' east 97.44 feet, thence north 00'0 081 3111 west 51.32 feet to the true point of beginning. SECTION THREE: In the proceeding herein adopted by this City Council for the vacation of the street described in Section 2, the City of Redlands reserves and excepts from the vacation the permanent easement and right at any time, or from time to time, to construct, maintain, operate, replace, remove and renew PAsES57 sanitary sewers and storm drains and appurtenant structures zn, upon, over and across any street or part thereof proposed to be vacated and pursuant to any existing franchises or renewals thereof, or otherwise, to construct, main- tain, operate, replace, remove, renew and enlarge Lines of pipe, conduits, cables, wires, poles, and other convenient structures, equipment and fixtures for the operation of gas pipe lines, telegraphic and telephone lines, railroad lines, and for the distribution or transportation cafelectric energy, petroleum, and its products, ammoraa, watery and incidental purposes, including access and right to keep property free from inflammable materials, and wood growth, and to otherwise protect the same from all hazards in, upon, and over the street proposed to be vacated. SECTION FOUR: The City Council hereby determines that the vacation of that portion of street described herein is required by public interest, convenience, safety and welfare, ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this f day of ,f, , 1962 sue.
