HomeMy WebLinkAbout2169 ,',,,K5593r PAGE254 RESOLUTION NO. 2169 `A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2124, A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE WORK OF CLOSING A PORTION OF TENNESSEE STREET IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS AS SAID STREET IS NO LONGER REQUIRED FOR STREET PURPOSES. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS-. SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Redlands having elected to � proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 2 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, and having held a public hearing as provided therein, hereby finds from all evidence submitted that the street described in this resolution is unnecessary ,for present or prospective street purposes and that the public interest and convenience requires the vacation of said street. SECTION 2. The City Council hereby orders the vacation of that portion of a certain street in the City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino., State of California, described as follows° A 36 foot wide strip of land in the City of Redlands, County of San Ber- nardino., State of California lying east of a line 44 feet from and parallel with the centerline of Tennessee Street as said centerline is shown on a Map of Barton Ranch as recorded in Book 6 of Maps, Page 19 thereof., records of said County. Said strip is bounded on the north by a lane 44 feet south of and parallel with the centerline of Colton Avenue and on the south by a lane 309.37 feet south of and parallel With said centerline of Colton Avenue. SECTION 3e The City Council hereby determines that the vacation of the street described herein is required by public interest., convenience,, safety and welfare.
