/I,RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FINDING THAT A PORTI F A CERTAIN ALLEY u
IS UNNECESSARY FOR PRESENT OR PROSPECTIVE ALLEY PURPOSES AND ORDERING THE +
ABANDONMENT OF SAID ALLEY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE. The City Council of the City of Redlands having elected to
proceed under the provisions of Division ,, Part 1, Chapter 2 of the Streets
and Highways Code of the State of California, and having held a public hearing
as provided therein, hereby finds from all evidence submitted that the alley
described in this resolution is unnecessary for present or prospective alley
purposes and that the public interest and convenience requires the abandon-
ment of said alley.
SECTION TWO- The City Council hereby orders the abandonment of a
portion of a certain alley described as follows:
That portion of an alley 15 feet in width in the City of Redlands,
County of San Bernardino, State of California as shown on the Map
of Park Addition recorded in Book 15 of Maps, Page 61 thereof,
records of said County lying between the north line of Lot 8 and
its easterly extension and the south line of Lots 7, 6, 5 and 4
and its easterly extension in said Park Addition and between the
easterly lane of 50 foot wide Fourth Street and the westerly line
of Lot 1 of said Park Addition.
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that the abandonment
of that portion of an alley described herein is required by public interest,
conveniences safety and welfare.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this l6th day of May, 1961.
